Alyson Chase
 Alyson’s joy in creating art is evident through her bright, crisp and happy paintings. Her paintings inspire us to relax in the garden, take a moment to appreciate the world around us, and embark on adventures.
Her interest in art began as a very young child. In grade school she was encouraged by the teachers at the Shelburne Craft School to develop her talents. She took art courses through high school and at the University of Vermont. She has also apprenticed with several Vermont artists.
Using the brilliance of acrylics on paper, Alyson develops original pieces that she then transfers to cards, full-size prints, and other decorative items.
Alyson is a native Vermonter. She lives in Richmond, Vermont with her husband and two sons where she is continually inspired by the views of her gardens and the Green Mountains from her studio.
