Floorcloth Workshops & Parties

Come join me for a floorcloth workshop in my Richmond studio! My workshops are for all skill levels (unless otherwise indicated). I will guide you through the complete design process from the blank canvas to a finished masterpiece! I will help you design a simple floorcloth or you can bring your own design.

I also offer Floorcloth Workshop Parties! Gather a a group of up to six friends and schedule a party! You can do a one or two day party. It's a great way to spend a cold and dreary Vermont winter day! Parties are scheduled to accommodate your schedule so please contact me to arrange your party date!

The fee for each workshop is $150.00 for a two day workshop and $95.00 for a one day workshop. The fee includes all of the materials you will need to complete* a floorcloth including; a primed and hemmed 2' x 3' floorcloth blank, a set your very own of brushes, latex and acrylic paint and print making materials ( a choice of one of the following; 4" x 4" rubber stamp blank, miracle sponge (these are flat sponges that expand when water is added!) or stencil blank). You will need to bring a bag lunch for both days. Also, please remember to wear your painting clothes!

Class size is limited to 6 so sign up early to save your spot. A deposit of $25.00 will be requested upon registration, you can make your deposit on my online store, click on the Workshop tab. The balance will be due at the beginning of your workshop. (I accept cash, checks or credit cards.)

Cancellation Policy: I require a 3 day cancellation notice prior to the workshop in order to refund your $25.00 deposit.

*Depending on the time spent in the design process and the complexity of your floorcloth I cannot guarantee you will have a completed rug when you leave but you certainly will be far along enough into the process to easily complete your rug at home.
